The iconic Grammy award winning artists Boyz II Men are bringing the romance this Valentine’s Day weekend to City National Grove of Anaheim on Saturday, February 16.
Even though multiplatinum selling Boyz II Men just celebrated their 20th anniversary, they show no signs of slowing down! Their latest single “One More Dance” quickly became one of the most added song on urban radio the week it was released. The hit song is from their double album Twenty, named in honor of the band’s anniversary, which is available now. The album reunites Boyz II Men with hit producers such as Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, Teddy Riley and more. Twenty features 10 original new songs, and 10 re-recorded versions of some of their favorite hits.
Their previous album Love, produced by Randy Jackson in 2009, featured popular love songs from famous artists such as Bonnie Raitt, The Beetles, and Cyndi Lauper, and a special collaboration with Michael Bublé. Love sold over 15,000 copies in its first week.
Boyz II Men have sold over 60 million recordings and achieved international success for their emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies. The group’s first single to reach No. 1, “End of the Road,” was a phenomenal hit and reached the top of charts across the globe in 1992. “End of the Road” set a new record, holding the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for thirteen weeks, breaking the record previously held by Elvis Presley. Boyz II Men have been named the most successful R&B group of all time by RIAA, won four Grammy Awards and recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
