Danity Kane DK3

For the first time in four years, the trio including Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex of the multi-platinum selling group Danity Kane, will be on stage together as Danity Kane DK3 to perform new music from solo projects as well as hits we know and love at City National Grove of Anaheim on Friday, October 19.

Danity Kane is a multi-platinum, international, chart topping, independent female music group. The group originally formed on MTV's hit series, Making the Band, and signed to Bad Boy/Atlantic Records in 2005 under the direction of Sean "Diddy" Combs. With radio hits like "Showstopper" and "Damaged," they proved their talents as legitimate industry artists. Their freshman and sophomore albums "Danity Kane" and "Welcome to the Dollhouse" both debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Danity Kane became the first female group in Billboard's history to consecutively debut albums a #1, placing them in the Guinness Book of World Records. After reuniting in 2014 their independent self-titled junior album “DK3” went #1 on Billboard US top Album Chart.

The show features a solo performance from DAWN who's made huge waves in her solo career, with her solo albums reaching #1 on iTunes Electronic charts and Top 20 overall on the iTunes Charts as well as #2 on Billboard's Top Independent Charts and all nine of the music videos have reached #1 on iTunes. Dawn recently starred in a new PETA campaign being that she is their latest celebrity/music spokesperson. In addition to that, Dawn is the latest celebrity ambassador and spokesperson for the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Dawn is officially gearing up for the third installment to her trilogy, The Red Era. “Dance”, Dawn’s lead single for The Red Era premiered via The Fader during the last week of September. “The Red Era is about moving on, redeeming yourself, and finding redemption. It’s time for people to start feeling good and start embracing who they are while dancing in their own light. That time is now … Let’s DANCE,” said Dawn.

Fans will get to experience not only Dawn's solo project, but Aubrey & Shannon's successful duo, Dumblonde. Their indie pop debut has strong dance and alternative influences. The combination of their iconic blonde appeal, transcendent harmonies and powerful stage presence is a style unique only to Dumblonde. Their self-titled visual album released in September 2015. Debuting at #1 on Billboard’s “Heatseekers” Chart and #1 on iTunes Dance Charts. Dumblonde is currently set to release their sophomore album this year, where fans will get to hear it first as a part of this tour. The duo released their latest single, "White Hot Lies" this summer and it has been climbing the charts, making us all feel like Dumblonde is saving pop music. 

The show finishes with all three coming together, performing the DK anthems that fans are dedicated to come out for.
