Legendary singer-songwriter, Willie Nelson & Family will return to the Santa Barbara Bowl on Thursday, September 23, 2010.

With a six-decade career and 200 plus albums, this iconic Texan is the creative genius behind the historic recordings of “Crazy,” “Red Headed Stranger” and “Stardust” among others.  He has earned every conceivable award as a musician and amassed reputable credentials as an author, actor and activist.  In 2009, his new album releases included Naked Willie, Willie and the Wheel (collaboration with country-swing bang, Asleep at the Wheel) and the critically acclaimed American Classic, which hit stores last August.

On April 20, 2010, Nelson released his 67th album titled Country Music, his first bluegrass album and first time collaboration with producer T-Bone Burnett.  Many of the musicians on Country Music, including banjo master Riley Baugus and double bassist Dennis Crouch, were also featured on Raising Sand, the 2009 Grammy award-winning Album of the Year by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
