MIKE TYSON: Undisputed Truth is a rare, personal look inside the life and mind of one of the most feared men ever to wear the heavyweight crown. Directed by Academy Award nominee Spike Lee, this riveting one-man show goes beyond the headlines, behind the scenes and between the lines to deliver a must-see theatrical knockout.

“The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” concert series is back with a third installment of multimedia shows to be toured worldwide, entitled “Master Quest.” This latest edition of the “The Legend of Zelda” symphony will add brand new music and visuals from recent and upcoming The Legend of Zelda games, but will maintain the beloved experience fans have come to expect as it embarks on a world tour. The tour will make a stop at City National Civic on Saturday, December 5, 2015.

Based on one of the most popular and beloved video game series of all time, the tour features live orchestral performances of theme music from Nintendo’s 28-year-old The Legend of Zelda franchise that will serve to introduce newcomers to the music and themes of the Zelda games and give long-time fans a chance to celebrate their favorite moments in the franchise.
Audiences can expect to experience awesome new inclusions from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the most recently released game in the series for Nintendo 3DS, and new music from the recently announced remake of fan-favorite The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. These never before performed scores accompanied by new gameplay imagery will appear for the first time ever in “Master Quest,” though fans will still be treated to the show’s now-classic repertoire from seasons past.

The name Symphony of the Goddesses refers not only to the concert program but also to the four-movement symphony recounting the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The performance also will highlight orchestral renditions of music from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Concerts will be performed by full orchestra and choir in world class venues throughout the world.

“The continued excitement around The Legend of Zelda franchise is amazing, and this special concert will deliver an unforgettable experience for fans,” notes Jason Michael Paul, President of Jason Michael Paul Productions, Inc, which is producing the concert tour. “These performances transcend culture and geography and unite people through a common love for this venerable and legendary series.”
Guests will enjoy their favorite moments from the now 28-year-old series, carefully and beautifully timed with a gorgeous orchestral score approved by Nintendo sound director and Zelda franchise composer Koji Kondo. The concert is a festive experience for all walks of fans, many of which attend “cosplaying” as their favorite characters.

Fans can view a complete tour schedule with ticketing information, and also sign up for a regularly updated digital newsletter, athttp://zelda-symphony.com. Club Nintendo members can enjoy an exclusive 15% discount to the show by logging into their accounts and looking for the discount code on the Symphony of the Goddesses banner. Hot off the heels of their latest studio album, “Return To Forever,” the Scorpions celebrate their 50th Anniversary and make a stop at the historic Santa Barbara Bowl on October 6 at 6:30 PM with Queensrÿche.

50 years after a very young Rudolf Schenker founded the band in the profoundly provincial, post-war Hannover, the Scorpions remain a band that is able to attract masses of new fans at any given time. The Scorpions are once again at the peak of their creativity with their latest album. Tracks like the first single “We Built This House” are as contemporary as the sweeping “House Of Cards” (a guaranteed live hit). Also belonging in the category live hit is “Eye Of The Storm”, a track, that transports a notion of the unbelievable dynamic and joy of playing, characterizing the Scorpions’ stage performances.

The Scorpions 50th Anniversary World Tour kicks off in May, which the band is looking forward to. Not least, “because it’s simply unbelievable and inspiring to look into the faces of very young fans, who discover us and our music in a whole new way.” And who, this might be added, experience the magic that characterizes Scorpions concerts since their early days, for the first time.

Queensrÿche first burst onto the music scene in 1982 with the release of their self-titled 4 song EP “Queensrÿche”. They very quickly gained international recognition and performed to sold out audiences around the world. With the follow up first full length album “The Warning” in 1984, and the ground breaking 1986 release of “Rage For Order”, Queensrÿche continued to prove their worldwide dominance as one of the most respected and creative bands of the 80′s. In 1988 the band turned out yet another monumental album “Operation:Mindcrime”, which would go on to become one of the TOP 10 best-selling concepts records of all time, and set the stage for continued sold out performances around the world. With the release of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful “Empire” in 1991, the band earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and won the MTV “viewer’s choice” award for the #1 chart topping hit “Silent Lucidity”. During the next ten years, the band continued to release albums and tour the world to sold out audiences. Queensrÿche has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and have continued to break new ground and push their creative process.

GRAMMY Award nominated recording artist Musiq Soulchild returns to City National Grove of Anaheim on Friday, October 2.

It’s hard to imagine a performer working today with more heart and soul than Musiq Soulchild. With over a decade on the scene, the multiplatinum singer/songwriter brings a new depth to his meditations on life and love with his sixth studio album, Musiqinthemagiq

“I’m working hard to represent the legacy of soul music,” explains Musiq, who experiments with various shades of pop on the new album. He entered the studio wanting to “incorporate the sound of popular artists like Bruno Mars and B.o.B.” with the classic R&B magic that he does best. “I hope that people would recognize me as a bridge between the old skool stuff from back in the day to what’s going on nowadays. Even within my own catalogue, to recognize the progression.” Bringing together such talents as Swizz Beatz, who lends a verse on the single “Anything,” Jerry Wonder of Platinum Sounds, and Norwegian production team The Element, MusiqintheMagiq reveals an artist who is willing to surprise not just his audience, but also himself.

Musiq has been honored with a number of awards, including Billboard Music Awards for “Best New Artist,” “Top R&B Artist,” “Top R&B Male” & “Top R&B Single,” the Soul Train Music Award for “Best R&B/Soul Single” and the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Award for “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song.

Musiq made a stellar Atlantic debut with LUVANMUSIQ, earning a trio of Grammy nominations as well as sales in excess of 700,000. The album – which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 – featured a streak of major hit singles, including “b.u.d.d.y,” “Makeyouhappy,” and the #1 smash, “Teachme,” which spent 15 weeks atop Billboard’s Urban AC airplay chart. ONMYRADIO followed in 2008, reaching the #1 spot on Billboard’s “Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums” chart in its second week out. The album received considerable critical praise, with special attention paid to the smash singles, “sobeautiful” and “IfULeave (Feat. Mary J. Blige).”
