Jordan Harding has been named General Manager of the City National Grove of Anaheim by Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts which exclusively operates and programs the versatile 1,700-capacity theater.  Harding begins immediately, replacing Adam Millar who has recently been named General Manager of Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA.

“Harding is a seasoned entertainment executive who brings great energy and experience to our Company,” said Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts.  “City National Grove of Anaheim is a top performing venue in the country, and we are thankful for Millar’s dedication to developing the venue’s reputation and relationships within the industry and with the City of Anaheim.  Harding will make a seamless transition and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the venue’s profile, bringing new opportunities to this Orange County gem.”

As General Manager, Harding will oversee business operations and the development of new revenue opportunities for City National Grove of Anaheim.  As Managing Partner at JCH Sports & Entertainment, Harding most recently worked in the flourishing e-sports space, driving event strategy for Blizzard Entertainment’s first-ever grand finals at Barclays Center in New York.   Before that, he was the VP, Entertainment Strategy for the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.  There, he was an integral part of the unprecedented growth of Prudential Center’s revamped entertainment business, increasing the venue ranking from No. 17 to No. 5 in the US (as reported by Pollstar Magazine).  Over the course of three years at the venue, Harding helped develop strategic partnerships that led to the venue’s overall success, including the launch of the first and only GRAMMY Museum on the east coast. Prior to Prudential Center, he worked for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment/Barclays Center (now BSE Global) as the Senior Director, Event Finance & Development where he was essential in the development and launch of Barclays Center in 2012, and developed models to support the expansion of BSE Global’s venue portfolio.  Harding started his career in New York at AEG Presents where he conducted financial settlements of regional shows and national tours.

“This is a great opportunity to lead a fantastic team at a premier venue,” said Harding.  “I have always had great respect for the Nederlander family, and I am excited about continuing the growth and success of the City National Grove of Anaheim.  My family and I are eager to relocate to Southern California and become a part of the Anaheim community."

Since 2002, Nederlander Concerts has operated, managed and programmed the City National Grove of Anaheim.  The venue has hosted over 2.3 million fans, with 1.3 million tickets sold, and presents over 270 special events and concerts annually.  City National Grove continually ranks high among similar sized venues worldwide and in 2017 ranked No. 56 in the world (according to Pollstar magazine) and No. 3 in California (according to Venues Now magazine). From concerts to comedy, Broadway to community, and cultural to special events, the venue has welcomed iconic artists such as multi-Grammy winner Prince, Stevie Nicks, Jackson Browne, comedic sensation Ali Wong, Jamie Foxx and country icon Willie Nelson, plus many more.
