Legendary rock icon, Steve Miller Band will headline The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on June 20th with special guest The Doobie Brothers.
The 2013 touring season by the Steve Miller Band follows four of the busiest, most productive years in the long, illustrious career of Steve Miller, an artist at the peak of his powers, in demand around the world. The tour will feature his classic rock anthems such as, “Fly Like an Eagle,” “The Joker,” “Rock ‘n Me,” “Take the Money and Run,” and “Abracadabra,” among others, plus new favorites off his latest releases.
One of rock music’s all-time greats, the Steve Miller Band has sold more than 30 million records in a career spanning more than 40 years. His trademark blues-rock sound made him one of the key artists in classic rock radio. The Steve Miller Band is brand name rock that millions have come to trust.
The Doobie Brothers have continued to perform, create and record for over 21 consecutive years and fans are sure to hear classic hits such as “Listen to the Music,” “Black Water,” and “What a Fool Believes,” plus new favorites off their latest release World Gone Crazy. The new album may be most remarkable for the extent to which it stands completely on its own. Yes, World Gone Crazy is another chapter in one of the great American music stories, but it’s neither comeback nor nostalgia. An exhibition of aggressive and emotional performances, evocative storytelling, unapologetic attitude and world class musicianship, the collection is its own justification.
