Edith Marquez

 

Edith began her career in television music competitions and in the late 80s and early 90s was a member of the Mexican pop music group Timbririche. Her pop style infused with balada, bolero and ranchero distinguished her among other artists. She began her solo career in 1998 with several hits such as “Frenta a Ti,” “Caricas del Cielo,” “Extravíate” and “Quien Te Canta?”

Edith is considered the Queen of the Palenques in Mexico, as she’s the artists with the most massive presentations in these centers, sharing the stage with personalities such as Vicente Fernández and Armando Manzanero.
