Banda El Recodo

Legendary regional Mexican group Banda El Recodo come to the Peacock Theater, Friday, July 18 with their La Madre de Todas las Bandas Tour. Tickets are available via AXS.com, Friday, May 9, at 10AM.

Banda El Recodo formed in 1938 and has been under the direction of the Lizárraga family ever since. They are the only band to win the Latin Grammy nine times. In 2003, Banda El Recodo became the first Mexican band to be invited to perform at the Latin Grammy Awards, repeating their performance in 2008, 2010, 2015, and 2017. Additionally, they’ve received 12 “Premios Lo Nuestro” in their career and have won five Billboard Awards in the categories of “Album of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Master Tone.”
