The Grammy-Award winning Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes return to the Greek Theatre, Friday, August 7. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster, Friday, February 13, at 10AM.

It has been more than 25 years since the Gipsy Kings captured the world’s imagination with their self-titled debut album—a record that became a genuine phenomenon, certified gold and platinum around the globe, introducing millions of listeners to a unique, irresistible blend of traditional flamenco styles with Western pop and Latin rhythms. Since then, the band has toured virtually non-stop to the farthest-flung corners of the planet and sold more than 20 million albums, while continuing to showcase generations of virtuoso musicians.

Led by Nicolas Reyes, the Gipsy Kings continue to dominate the World Music charts. Melding deep-heated flamenco, rumba, salsa and pop, the band continues a tradition that has drawn famous fans such as Picasso, Cocteau, Dali and Chaplin. From playing on the streets of Cannes and the hedonistic heights of St. Tropez, breaking world music barriers as one of the rare groups to climb the U.S. and World music charts.
