Born Taalib Johnson, Musiq Soulchild is widely regarded as one of the most influential R&B voices of his generation. Inspired by legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, and Donny Hathaway, he helped define—and pioneer—the neo-soul movement of the early 2000s. Renowned for his raw, expressive vocals and intimate songwriting, Musiq remains a beloved live performer and a defining voice in contemporary soul music.
