88FIVE LIVE at Drive-In OC: Jason Mraz

88FIVE LIVE (88.5 FM, Southern CA) at Drive-In OC presents Grammy-winning artist Jason Mraz: Look For The Good Live on Friday, April 23, and Saturday, April 24 (2 shows) at City National Grove of Anaheim. One ticket per vehicle, a maximum of five passengers per vehicle. 

 

The shows mark Mraz’s first shows with his band since the release of Look For The Good, his latest album that captures his career-long love for reggae music. Due to the pandemic, Mraz has not yet performed songs from the album live with his full band since its release last June. 

 

“I recorded Look For The Good with the full intention of sharing this music live,” said Mraz.  “I have been waiting not so patiently for nearly a year for this first opportunity to re-create in front of an audience the incredible experience that my bandmates and I had making this unique album.  This show will be a celebration on many levels.”

 

Easy Star Records founder Michael Goldwasser (Matisyahu, Steel Pulse, Toots and the Maytals, and Easy Star All-Stars) produced Look For The Good at Mraz’s home studio in Southern California.  Actress/comedian Tiffany Haddish as well as reggae icon Sister Carol make guest appearances on the album, which begins and ends with the same phrase: “Look for the Good.”  “All of the earnings from the album were donated to various non-profits for the advancement of equality and will continue to be,” adds Mraz. 

 

The Independent 88.5 FM offers a 24-hour, commercial-free blend of rock, alternative, soul, blues and Americana.
