Andrew McMahon

Andrew McMahon announces two more drive-in concerts, this time on the East Coast, at New Jersey’s Monmouth Park in Oceanport on August 24-25.  The shows will continue the 15th Anniversary of the Jack’s Mannequin album Everything in Transit, which he will play from start to finish plus other popular songs from Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Something Corporate.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 7th and can be purchased here: www.andrewmcmahon.com/tour/. A maximum of four (4) occupants will be permitted per vehicle.

 

Last week McMahon released his new song “Get On My Wave.”  The song, produced by King Tuff, was performed live for the first time at McMahon’s sold-out drive-in shows in Orange County, CA. 

 

Last month McMahon kicked off the anniversary celebration by playing three sold-out drive-in concerts (July 10-12) in Anaheim, California presented by Nederlander Concerts.  Due to overwhelming demand for the shows, a live stream was made available for Saturday night’s concert and was watched by over 4,000 fans. You can still watch the performance on-demand with a portion of the proceeds of all streams going to the foundation. The concerts have already raised over $20,000 on behalf of McMahon’s Dear Jack Foundation.

 

Drive-In Live at Monmouth Park is produced by The Basie Presents and presented by World Subaru and Bank of America, with support from Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Saker ShopRites. Events benefit the nonprofit Count Basie Center for the Arts. State guidance on social distancing, public gatherings and certain procedures and practices is subject to change.
