CITY NATIONAL GROVE OF ANAHEIM DEBUTS SIGNATURE CRAFT BEER AT THE GROWLERS CONCERT

Published on 2nd March 2020

City National Grove of Anaheim will debut a new signature craft beer, Boysenheim, brewed exclusively for the venue by its partner Brewheim Beer Makers. Boysenheim will debut on March 25, during the first of three Growlers shows playing the venue March 25-27, 2020.

Celebrating live music with local partners, Anaheim’s Brewheim Beer Makers developed a flavored beer exclusively for City National Grove of Anaheim.  This Boysenberry Blonde Ale is infused with locally grown fresh boysenberries, creating a light, refreshing, and slightly fruity beer. Boysenheim will have its own unique beer tap replicating the venue’s trademark water tower at six locations in the venue.

“We are always striving to provide a unique guest experience while supporting local vendors and decided to debut our custom-crafted ale when Orange County band, The Growlers make their City National Grove of Anaheim debut,” said Jordan Harding City National Grove of Anaheim General Manager.

"Boysenheim ale pays homage to Anaheim, the place where the boysenberry was made famous, preserving Anaheim's rich local history and culture which our city fosters," said Anaheim Mayor Pro Tem Stephen Faessel.

"We are thrilled that the venue is honoring the legacy of my grandfather, California horticulturist Rudy Boysen, who created the boysenberry," said Jeanette Boysen Fitzgerald, owner of Rudy's Original® Heritage Boysenberries at Boysen Berry Farm.

In addition to Boysenheim, City National Grove of Anaheim serves three additional signature Brewheim craft beers, including Veruca-Blueberry Lager, served with fresh local organic blueberries, Platinum Triangle Blonde Ale an ultra-light, crisp blonde ale, and Ziggy-Tropical Session IPA brewed with passion fruit, grapefruit, mango, and blood orange.
